This is a writing and creative collaboration for anyone aged 10-19.

No fees. Everyone welcome.

Teen, Create, Connect, will become a published anthology/collaboration of teen creatives, focusing especially on being a young person, how a teen's mind works, or just generally being creative.

​

Please submit by the 4th of July.

Otherwise I won't have time to go through everything, because I'll be doing this all on my own. Thank you!

What Do I Need To DO?

Look below and find a form to submit, email me, or chat below using the 'Let's Chat!' button.

You need to be one of the following:

  • A short story writer

  • A traditional artist

  • A digital artist

  • A song writer

  • A poet

  • A playwright

  • A photographer

  • A journalist

  • A creative non-fiction writer

What's The Catch?

No catch! Just make sure not to use AI and submit your own work. And please be kind to me or anyone else you might come across during this journey.

Commonly asked questions:

Do I have to create something new?

Nope! It could have been made 4 years ago, or 4 minutes ago. As long it is by a current teenager, and either represents the teen mind, being a teen or teen creativity.

I'm not the most confident person. Do I have to share my name?

For legal purposes, and so that we can communicate easier, I would like to know your name, but you can have your work published under a pen name if you prefer. Just specify when submitting!

What's the limit?

Try to limit writing to 1500 words, but don't be worried if it goes a little over. For all types of creativity, submit as much as you like, but be aware not all of it will necessarily be included.

Is this a competition? What is it?

This is a collaboration to showcase the beautiful work of teenagers. It's a chance to get your work shared in a book, along with other like-minded people. It will eventually be available to order the paperback online, or read the submissions on this site. Stay updated though! It'll probably be up and running at the start of September. If you take part, you'll know what has been chosen, and all the necessary details during July or August.

When submitting work, please place separately. Working can be placed in the form below, but for images please email me at nadia.teenagetales@gmail.com so that it can get to me. If you are submitting multiple pieces, there are 5 slots below. I believe that should be enough. If something doesn't work for some reason, or you don't have space, please email me. It's much easier. If you email please include your information:

Your name,

Pen name (if applicable),

Your Work,

any comments (and whether you want them to be shared in the final book),

Your bio (it doesn't have to be long: just a few words about what you enjoy creating or anything. It can help you get more acknowledgement for your work, if that's what you're looking for).

When submitting, you give me the right to share your work through my website and in the book, but you own the rights to your own work.
