TeenageTells- NaNoWriMo

I know it's technically not called NaNoWriMo anymore, but I'm going to stick with that because it perfectly encaptures what it is. If you didn't see the previous post, NaNoWriMo was closed due to the use of AI, and their beliefs, but many websites are taking up a similar thing. At the end I'll leave some links to some of these platforms. Whilst looking for them, I found NaNoWriMo2, which I would be careful with, and do your research whether you are a fan or not. But you can just go solo (that's what I did) because using a site isn't what defines you and your writing.
I'm excited that it's NaNo season, because it's a fun time to write, and I'm super hyped to get writing. Last year, I wrote the second book in my series, which I am still editing. Initially, I was planning to just edit that this year, but my mum got an idea, so I'll additionally be writing Christmas stories, to have a sort of Advent Calendar, but with stories. That's going to be really fun, so stick around for that.
I want to hear if you are writing anything this year. I'm more than happy to share tips, but I want to say right off the bat that this is just fun. If it's too much for you, tone it down, or stop altogether. There's no pressure: this is just an 'excuse' to start the project you always dreamed of writing.
I'm writing this before the actual start, and when this is out, hopefully both you and I will have started writing. So, get to writing! Or editing, or planning or anything! This is a great time. It doesn't have to be professional, just get going.
Good luck!
If you found this week's tips for teenage writers helpful, enjoyable or you think someone else will love to read it, share it with others! Let's help more teen writers achieve their dreams. Together.
