TeenageTells- Join Me On Project Feather

I am starting a sort-of-new project which you may know as project feather. For just a little while, I want to take a break from the Time And Time Again series, and focus on this little passion project. And, yes, Emerald is still coming out, but I'm not working on book 3 yet.

This story is an idea I've been toying with for about a year, but I can't remember when exactly I started. It's high fantasy, which is always fun, and I hope it'll get me in the mood to read some more fantasy books, because I've been in a slump lately.

The main idea with this book is a girl who has two souls, who has been rejected from both heaven and hell and is now back on Earth. Her name is MaiaMara, There's a lot of cool world-building (in my opinion), which I hope to share eventually.

But, as a little teaser, there are creature groups, an unexpected reveal and a magical school.

Unlike most of my writing, this'll probably be a stand-alone, maybe maybe a duology. Usually, I don't like stand-alones or short series, but I think it works for this story, because I expect making it into a series will take away some of my fun with it, and there's not enough series-ness in it.

Why am I writing about this? I'm not exactly sure. I hope to share this journey as it's happening, unlike my other books where I tell you about them after the fact.

Right now, I'm still in the blissful brainstorming process. Thinking of the characters, the structure, concept, the world. It's all fun and light-hearted. I've tried writing the beginning before, but I didn't like it, so now I'm back in notebook territory (which means it's still casual).

I know this post is short, but I want to get back to brainstorming!

If you're as excited as I am about this, join Project Feather, which I hope to talk about more on my weekly blog. And please like, to show you're here for this journey.

See you next week!
