This week I wanted to share some of my favourite quotes with you, because it's been an emotional week for me with some personal stuff going on, and adjusting to a new routine because I'm in Poland for five weeks :). These are some that help me, and hope help you too:

"Write like the world ended yesterday and you're the only one left to remember how it felt."

"Your whole life can change in 1 year. Make this the one."

"being a great writer is 3% talent, 97% not being distracted on the internet."

"Wanting to be a writer and not wanting to be rejected is like wanting to be a boxer and not wanting to get punched." - David Barr Kirtley.

"Treat all your secondary characters like they think the book's about them." -Jocelyn Hughes.

"Some journeys lead us far from home. Some adventures lead us to our destiny." C.S Lewis.

"Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader- not the fact that it is raining, but the feeling of being rained upon." -E. L. Doctorow.

"Without commitment, you'll never start. Without consistency, you'll never finish." -Denzel Washington.

"Haters don't really hate you. They hate themselves because you're a reflection of what they wish they could be."

"Never say you're having a bad day... say you're having a character building day." -Les Brown.

"You're not doing it wrong. You're just in the part that makes most people quit."

"Never make fun of someone if they mispronounce a word. It means they learned it by reading it."

"Fear is wisdom in the face of danger, it is nothing to be ashamed of." -Sherlock Holmes.

"We are writers, my love. We don't cry. We bleed on paper." -a.y.

"If someone tells you 'you can't' they're showing you their limits. Not yours."

"If you quit it becomes a habit. Never quit." -Michael Jordan.

"You never know the other person's story, so never judge it. The others also don't know your story, so don't be ashamed of who you are. Remember: you are perfect and there is always someone who will appreciate that, even if you haven't found them yet." -Nadia Partyka.

if you have any you want to share, let me know! There is so much wisdom around, and I hope some sticks with you.

If you found this week's tips for teenage writers helpful, enjoyable or you think someone else will love to read it, share it with others! Let's help more teen writers achieve their dreams. Together.
