Writing tips.
1. Write something you enjoy writing.
2. Have a plan and a plot.
3. Write whenever you can/ proritize your writing.
4.(optional) read good books.
5. research on topics that pop up in your story.
6. Don’t compare your work to anyone else’s, (you’re a different person with a different style and view!)
Now, I want you to ask yourself why you want to write your book. Is it because you want to read this sort of book? Maybe you want to share something with the world? Even if it something tiny, or completely different to the example I've given, I want you to ask yourself the purpose of your book.
Now that you've done that, tell me what this book will do for the reader, because ultimately, it's what the reader wants/needs that gets your book sold. How will you leave a lasting impression on your reader? Will you show them a brand new perspective or idea? Or will you give thema book to relate to and mak them feel less alone? Or something completely different?
When writing you need to consider a lot. I recommend that you at least focus on the five Ws:
Who? - your main character, side characters and anti-hero(s). (These are Really important)
What? - the thing which is called the plot. The item or idea that is being achieved.
Where? - the place. The story will change drastically if someone with fire powers is at one of the poles than in the middle of a forest.
When? - the time period can also change the book drastically. Consider this when deciding what your plot is. Do you want there to be technology? Certain fashion?
Why? - The thing that your main character(s) are driven by. Their goal. No one will do anything unless they see a way to their goal. (This is often subconscious).
